Guest guest
That is how I understood the info too. Somehow LDN blocking the receptors sort of tricks the brain (body) into thinking that it hasn't produced enough, so it then produces more. I laid awake in bed last night thinking about this! I guess as long as it works, it really doesn't matter how, but this is where a trial study could 'prove' something! Until then...the proof is in the puddin' so to speak! I'm not going to stop taking it! I mean I found NO papers to back it up but if you listen to the mp3 interviews with bihari he mentions 200 times more endorphins being produced. So you take a very small blockade, the petuitary says 'hey, not enough opiates' and it's tricked into producing WAY more. Exactly how this works is still pseudo-mystical, but it seems to be the case. Guest guest
I totally agree with ya Sall I did better noticed more benefit than I have at 4.5 but now that I’ve forced my body on this 4.5 and waited to see if I get a benefit sooner or later I wonder if it’s 3 specifically I should go back to or somewhere in between… Oh well next time I am asking for 3 and that’s that! I said that the 4.5mg was not working, and my thinking was that it was blocking too much. I still think it is an individual thing, though. I believe you had to take more and other people do well on the higher doses. And some of us do better on the lower dose. Eureka is right, I've been validated...lol. The next time you talk with Dr. B....see what he thinks of our scientific discovery. Guest guest
Hi, about the dosage: My pharmacist told me that if it was working at 3mg, which is what I am taking, that it would not work any better at a higher dosage....so this dissuaded me from asking for a higher dosage...don't know for sure, but, it is working, and I don't want to rock the boat! Guest guest
Hi Pam I believe you are right by not rocking the boat, for some reason when I went to 4.5 milligrams my stiffness increased and when I went down to 3.5 mg it never left. I am now stuck at 3.5 mg as when I go down to 3 mg I regress. You must have a very good pharmacist if he knows much at all about using LDN the way we do, I wish all pharmacist's were as knowledgeable as yours. I hope it keeps working as well in the future as it is working for you now. Reg.
