Guest guest
Peggy, Yes, I have used e.o.'s for headaches and so have several of my friends. Off the top of my head I know many people use either lavender or marjoram (I prefer sweet over the spanish). You might also try clary sage. I have a blend of clary, lavender and tangerine that people just love. Good luck. ----------------------- 's Garden http://www.vsgarden.com ----------------------- Peggy Lowell wrote: > Since we are talking about remedies for ailments lets tackle another > one > now.....I have a request for an oil that you can rub on your temples > for > headache. Guest guest
Peggy, Regarding the headache question, it can depend on the etiology of the headaches which needs to be determined by a healthcare provider. Just something to keep in mind. Different e.o.'s work on different things. Guest guest
Every bit of this is true. I use Wintergreen EO when I get a headache or even a migraine........a little dab will do. Guest guest
Peggy. I got my nonbeliveing wife to try PEPPERMINT EO for a headache she had suffered with all day one drop on each temple a few on the hairline of her forhead (away from the eyes) and across the hairline on the back of her neck. 30 minutes later she was up cleaning the yard. My 79 year old Aunt thought I was nuts , now she carries a bottle with her every where she goes. It works for us. HTH . Guest guest
I wasn't going to add my .02@, but here goes. For headaches: I chew a few fennel seeds. And if I can't get to sleep at night, I chew a few fennel seeds. For Arthritis, rheumatism, of whatever catchall name you want give it, my personal opinion is that at " a certain age " our kidneys get clogged and do not process the uric acid and it goes and collects in the joints. I also believe that any anesthesia from operations or childbirth also settle in and block the kidneys and cause joint pains. I make a tea of equal parts of urva ursi (bear berry), stinging nettle and horsetails grass. Drink as much as you want any time you want except before going to bed as you will be up all night visiting the latrine. Enjoy. Lavender works wonders, if I place it on my temples just as a migraine is coming on, I am completely amazed at how it works. Guest guest
I've seen your posts on the PLS site, which is what I thought I had these past two years (although without the necessary tests). My current neuro has dx'd me with ALS (after umpteen tests) and I'm forwarding all the info on LDN to him. He said if he determined that it isn't harmful, he would give me an Rx. I'll let you know if there's any change after I start it. Edith > Hi All, > > I am new to this group and considering taking LDN for Primary Lateral > Sclerosis.
