Guest guest
Merry Christmas to you too!! It is really neat to hear how different it is in different parts of the world. I think we get so caught up in our "own world" that you forget it is not the same for everyone. I hope you are feeling well. Your hobby sounds neat. Take care, Bethanne
Guest guest
Dear everyone, I'm afraid Christmas preparations have gotten the better of me and I just haven't had time to read posts for days. I would like to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and every happiness for the New Year. I'll be thinking of you all having a nice cosy Christmas dinner by the fire. We are expecting very hot weather here in Brisbane on Christmas Day - they say 40 degrees Celsius (37 is 100 deg F) Looks like we'll have to have Christmas dinner sitting in the pool and dumping blocks of ice into it. This is our summer, of course, and also school vacation time and everyone heads for the beaches. We usually have cold meats (Turkey, ham, roast pork) and seafood (prawns [shrimp]) and salads and pineapple for Christmas dinner and Santa wears shorts - LOL. Actually, I've been painting ceramics as a hobby this year and I just painted a serving platter with Santa on a surfboard (typical Aussie). Just thought you'd like to know what Christmas is like down under. Love to all, Bozena
