Guest guest
Dear Kiki, Often EN is caused, or at least preceeded, by strep throat. MS is an autoimmune disorder, and it is indeed very interesting that you too had EN before developing MS. I also invite you to discuss this facinating connection on my EN group: erythema nodosum/ I never imagined I'd find anyone on this LDN group who even knew what EN was. EN can't be as rare as they claim. MS usually strikes younger adults. I had a college friend who had symptoms in college and they told him he had a 50-50 chance of developing MS. He went on to become a pediatritian and unfortunately did develope MS and had to give up the medical practice he loved. I just pray this LDN turns out to be the cure for MS and many of the plagues we have in our midsts. Do you think the injections brought on the MS? Or perhaps you had a genetic weakness that predisposed you to both EN and MS? Love, > I was diagnosed with Erythema Nodosum 30 yrs ago at age 20. It went away > after some injections from my GP at the time and never discussed again. I > remember a bad strep throat before. Now I have MS? Never quite connected the two, > but I guess there is a connection. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. > Kiki
Guest guest
Thanks for getting back to me , interesting question you posed. Did the injections bring on the MS? I am not even sure what the injections were and my Dr. is long gone. I am so angry with myself for not asking. I remember saying to him "please write down what I have" because he had such a heavy accent, that is why I remember EN. I do remember, and my soon to be husband thought I was acting) When his mother would hug me firmly around my waist and upper butt, it hurt. My upper but hurt so I thought it was the injection site but it never went away. Do they give steroids in the upper butt area? or could it have been anti biotic? or B-12? I was 20 yrs old, very physically fit, I had studied to be a physical education teacher. I did not feel any other symptoms till I was 42, on and off I had sciatica but other than that I was very strong and healthy. I don't know why I am rambling , but thanks for listening.
