Headache and lowgrade fever

Hi everyone! I haven't posted in a long time. My daughter

(4 1/2 yrs old)has AIH. She is finally doing beautifully

on Imuran and Pred. Her liver function numbers stay in the

50's. The doctors say that is normal for her. We have slowly

been reducing the steriod and finally at a level that she

can have her chicken pox shot and other 5 year old vaccines. She

has one more reduction to make and then she will be at a maintenance

level. We have never before been able to get this low before!!!

I take her in next week - the hard part is keeping her

totally healthy until then. I had read one time that when

the steroid is being reduced you can get withdrawl systems.

occasionally experiences headaches and sometimes

will get a slight fever with it. Since she has been on this lower dose

this has been happening to her. Any input would be appreciated.
