Subject: [low dose naltrexone] Bladder issues

Hi all - have been on LDN for 220 days. It did not helped me at all with my nighttime bladder frequency issues. (At 120 days, I was still up 4-6 times a night to pee) A few months ago, I discussed this problem with one of my compounding pharmacists, and she recommended I try an amino acid called L-Arginine. At the time I posted here about it.After about 3 weeks of using 500 mg x 3 times a day - my nighttime frequency issues went away. I sleep through the night, except if I forget to take my L-Arginine. (I am down to 500mg x 2 a day now - working good,) I love the stuff. HOWEVER - L-Arginine is a immune system strenghtener - so, by conventional wisdom, it should be bad for us MSers. Works for me - but you would have to do your own research and decide for yourself. I know that others have tried it, some with good results, some were not happy and quit. But wanted to share what I have learned works for me because a good night's sleep is gold in my book! If anyone has any question, feel free to email me direct and I will share what little I know.
