Reg, that's pretty much my position on alcohol. My nervous system and balance are already screwed up, why do anything to make it worse...

I don't miss my sweet tooth at all. I don't know why it left, or who has it now, but I don't want it back!

.... I have always had a sweet tooth like right now I am drinking my morning coffee with two large tablespoons of sugar in it! This is still less than what is in a Coke, but not by much!Yet booze of any type is quite hard to like to me, not the taste now that I have been on ldn, for four months it has gotten better, but once you walk with a cane the last thing you need is something to throw your balance off.( I don't have one right now).

I havn't fallen now for months and want to keep it that way, so I will stay away from the booze, but it sure is hard to fit in with the old crowd kinda like an alcoholic must feel if he were to try drying up, I would guess.

I feel better! I did some pretty heavy drinking when I was about your age, realized how stupid I was, and quit. I'm glad you have more sense than I did.
