Guest guest
First of all please don't think of it as you doing something stupid which caused your new attack. Unfortunately there are so many things out there for all of us to use to socialize or enjoy, smoking, drinking eating the wrong foods, including tanning booths, but are maybe not so good for us. A friend of mine is a diabetic and was told that she should never go into a tanning booth on account of they are not good for people with auto-immune diseases. she asked many people if they have ever heard that, including another Doctor, he told her he never heard of it affecting people with auto-immune disease, but would never let his daughter go in one . She never got a straight answer, but was told that all of the above habits people exhibit as pleasure chip away at people under immune stress. I am sure that the LDN will bring you back to where you were over time, I have read on a few message boards that most people up their LDN to 4.5 and shorten their exacerbation with in a few days or a week. My husband's Neuro has never directed him in any way or lifestyle to follow, it has been up to him to figure out what is harmful to him. You will have to do the same, but please don't blame yourself for the attack, just observe and learn what you can about everything that touches your life. My prayers and thoughts are with you. ~ JANICE ~
Guest guest
Hi Janice, Thanks so much for your reply. I pretty much knew it was the tanning bed that brought on me not feeling good, I guess ldn can only do sooooooo much lol. I am one of those people that has to push things to the limit, just to see how much I can get away with, and how far I go. NOW I know how far I can go as far as tanning beds. Not that that is something major in my life, I only do it before we go on a trip to someplace else, so I can easily live without them. I can do so many things that most people with MS can't, so I consider myself very lucky. I love being outside in the summer, I live for my garden and my lawn, and it would almost kill me if I couldn't go out in the sun. I mean how much fun is it mowing your lawn when it's cloudy and cold out? All in all I consider myself very lucky. Thanks again for your reply Kerry JN1957@A... wrote: > First of all please don't think of it as you doing something stupid which > caused your new attack.
