Guest guest
Gail, I tried it about 4 years ago with an alternative doctor in Houston. It hurt and was expensive and it did not work for me. I have heard that it can be dangerous for some people if they are allergic or hypersensitive. Carol
Guest guest
Well one bee sting is likely to kill both me and my husband so anyone trying this would have to know positively that they're not allergic (shuddering at the thought). Bee venom kills mycoplasma I hear but there have to be easier ways Chris. >Gail, >I tried it about 4 years ago with an alternative doctor in Houston. Guest guest
Sheesh!! Your description makes my skin crawl and hair stand on end. However, I'm glad it works. Noland ----- Original Message ----- From: " johannefbzzz " <johannef@...> <low dose naltrexone > Sent: Tuesday, February 03, 2004 8:34 AM Subject: [low dose naltrexone] beestings Hi, I did BVT (bee venom therapy) for 3½ years. It worked well for me. When I started I was having a flare up for about a month. I was in a wheelchair, I was numb all over especially on my left side, I had foot drop, MS hug and bladder urgences that I took Diptropan for. Within 2 weeks I stopped taking Diptropan and my urgences are under control at about 95% I'd say. Gradually overtime all the numbness left and the foot drop. I still have the MS hug sometimes and my balance when walking is still off. I stopped doing BVT because travelling with live bees is a bit tricky. So I do Goodshape's histamine drops. They are almost as good as beestings. The foot drop has returned and a bit of numbness but nothing like it was in the beginning. Right now I've stopped the histamine drops to do just LDN and see what happens. I'm on day 44. I intent to do the histamine drops again sometime. As for beestings: The burning sensation never lasts more then one minute. The places where it burns the most are in your hair, uppper lip and fingertips. All the other places would be about the équivalent of 4-5 mousquitoes stings at the same time. After a while there are many places you won't even need to freeze before stinging that area.
