Guest guest
, My wife has a blood cancer called Multiple Myeloma, the end stage of which is called Plasma Cell Leukemia. These cancers tend to share treatments, though there are a few with very specific drugs now. IMO, it is good to pursue LDN but, as suggested above, a Hem/Onc will not volunteer to add LDN and may actively avoid it. After all, it's not in his/her vocabulary. When you know more about his disease learn more about the occurence rates for that cancer. I recommend pursuing an Hem/Onc that is a specialist in that flavor cancer if it is rare. I agree also that you should pursue LDN since it is always likely that a boost in the T cell side of the immune system will help. Please don't hesitate to write me when you know more. A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones. Proverbs 17:22 Don Schultz (no medical training, and not terribly bright) Near Joliet IL. My experience with them is that they are generally closed-minded.............. ..........However, don't give up on getting LDN. The sooner your brother starts taking it, the better. ----- Original Message ----- From: " candmpark " <candmpark@...> <low dose naltrexone > Sent: Tuesday, February 17, 2004 4:59 PM Subject: [low dose naltrexone] Leukemia > My brother was told today, that they think he has Leukemia.
