Brownstein himself continues to take 50mg Iodoral, while Abraham takes 100mg.

Brownstein is now doing mostly research and accepting no new patients.

Hi Chuck,

You're welcome...and thanks for explaining how this works. I

understood it was not an ongoing thing, nor recommended to be

continued, although a maintenance amount following initial treatment

was recommended. I didn't understand exactly how 'the oil' method

worked...I wasn't sure if it decreased absorption, since I thought

Iodine was water soluble, rather than oil soluble, which you

confirmed, or if it slowed absorption...or what...

BTW, what I've read so far, 37.5 mg - 50 mg is what Dr. Brownstein has

recommended for oral replacement of a deficiency, usually for about

three months, sometimes up to a year, and rarely as long as up to

three years; depending on which category a person fell into, once the

deficiency is corrected, a person would reduce to much smaller

maintenance dosages...(this is just my interpretation of what HE

says)... ;-)

So, downwind would be given injections after a nuclear reaction...how

does this differ from the government having a store of iodine tablets

to dispense after a nuclear fall-out?
