Hi All,

I am having some strangeness and would like some feedback. I started LDN on

Jan. 1 and have had marvelous results. Clarity returned, no restless legs,

weakness gone, better sleep etc. The only other meds I continued to take

were thyroid and Copaxone. I decided to quit Copaxone since it really

hasn't done much for me that I could tell, EXCEPT help my allergies. I felt

like I had been getting gradually worse on Copaxone. LDN is great. I quit

Copaxone about 10 days ago. Since then I have developed terrible allergic

sinus headaches, and other stuff like hot flashes, and tingling. And the

headache incapacitates me! ALSO I have been increasing the LDN from 3mg to

4.5. I went from 4.17 to 4.5 three days ago. Am I still in the LDN

orientation, ie. worse before better, or do I need to go back on Copaxone?

I am seeing my holistic Dr. tomorrow and will ask these questions, but I

really would like to hear your opinions and advice.

Thanks,

Lynda

HI TOM-

ARE YOU TAKING LDN BY THE WAY?

THANKS SO MUCH FOR ANSWERING ME.

I'M WORKING WITH UMASS-LOWELL AND SAINTS MEMORIAL HOSPITAL

TO DEVELOP AN ACCESSIBLE, COMPREHENSIVE CLINIC FOR MS. I'M

ASKING MS PATIENTS WHAT THEY WOULD LIKE TO SEE IN A CLINIC -

I KNOW MYSELF WHAT'S MISSING. AND THERE ARE JUST TOO MANY

PEOPLE NOT GETTING ANY TREATMENT.

I LOVE THE CAPE - USUALLY SPEND A COUPLE WEEKS IN TRURO IN

THE SUMMER WITH MY FAMILY. I'LL BE GOING TO JUPITER FLORIDA

IN APRIL - BUT MY DAD IS HAVING AORTIC ANEURYSM SURGERY

3/9. AND, I WANT TO MAKE MY PRESENTATION TO UMASS BEFORE I

GO.

DO YOU HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS?

THANKIS FOR THE INFO YOU SENT - AND I WANT TO GET YOUR BOOK.

BESTAUNT (MONA)

Lnda when you change your dose you will almost have to start from scratch again if your system is like mine. I am the king of dose changes (and anyone who wants this title can have it) since I have now stuck with a constant dose that I found was best by trial and much error, I have found a gradual increase in my health ,for the better I might add. You have only been on ldn for a very short time and you should expect some ups and downs. As someone said earlyer until tweleve months or so have gone by you will not know the full extent of what the ldn can do for you.I am not on any other medication so I can't even try to tell you what to do about the copaxone but lots of people seem to use both with no problems.

I also want to say that I started taking the DL Phenylalanine and today was great, for whatever reason. Reg.

It is impossible for a 4.5mg capsule to NOT have a filler. Nobody can accurately weigh and package 4.5mg by itself. The pharmacist will use a filler to make sure the proper dose is distributed in the capsule. A small capsule will hold about 200mg of powder. That means that the 4.5mg takes up 2.25% of the capsule. The remaining 97.75% is filler.

All LDN capsule contain fillers - and they are the inert part of the compound.
