Hi ,

I know what you mean about feeling hungry and full at the same time (or all

the time!). Really weird feeling... but I don't know the reason for it

unfortunately. =/ No headaches though.

Hi ,

I can relate to how you are feeling. When I was first banded I went

from feeling extremelyly full to starving, nothing in between. In

time that went away and I had normal hunger sensations. Also, about

your headaches, did you drink coffee and then stop for the surgery?

Or maybe you drank sodas and have now stopped? When you withdraw

from caffeine you can get horrible headaches until your body

adjusts. Hang in there it gets better.

Hi,

Welcome to the group!

The first thing that the pediatric orthopaedic should do is schedule an MRI to determine if its congenital, or not..Once this is determined and you have an official diagnosis, you can go from there.

There are a lot of mothers who have children with congenital and infantile on this group, so your'e in the right place!

Each child is inherently different, and so are available treatments. Please read www.infantilescoliosis.org in its entirety for info on "early treatment with a series of POP/EDF jackets", succesful testimonials, etc.

Scoliosis in infants can be very complicated, so its great that your educating yourself on available treatments.

Hope this helps,

HRH

could it be that just going thru the cervical surgery, being inactive,

led to the lumbar issues? I know anything that disrupts normal activity

that routinely excercises and stretches the back can lead to problems.

I would talk to the doc and ask if some stretching & strengthening could

help.

The under nipple point is at about the same level as the under arm

point, but straight down from the nipple. It was taken out of the

basic recipe for a period of time, but has been added back in.
