Guest guest
Randi, Nice to hear that Josie is doing well so far! You have already gotten a ton of responses on Aveeno Oatmeal Bath ( made a paste out of this, rubbed it into the scalp and then rinsed)- so that should help quite a bit. I put it in the bath and use it for ' dry skin patches every once in awhile. Good luck and keep us posted! 'mom
Guest guest
so I tried the Aveeno paste, but i must have made it too thick because we had a heck of a time trying to rinse it all out!!! Not sure it really helped with the itching either Suggestions? > Randi, > Nice to hear that Josie is doing well so far! Guest guest
Hi, It is supposed to be a little thick and yes it is a pain to rinse out. After about a week, week and a half the dry skin on his head shouldn't be there anymore. Be patient, it does work. :-) It just takes using it more than once or twice. > > Randi, > > Nice to hear that Josie is doing well so far! Guest guest
Dear Group, A member of my EN Group asked a dr. about naltrexone. He stated it was used to " stop itching, and that this may cause the endorphins to rise " . Has anyone experienced a lessening of itching while on LDN? I don't think this dr. is aware of how the low dose behaves in comparison to the usual 50 mg. dose. The website explained this quite well. Is this a " grassroots " movement? The group seems to be growing very quickly and I imagine other doctors will want to investigate this, or am I being optimistic? Best wishes to Everyone! Love,
