Guest guest
Thanks Janice! I needed to hear that. I have friends at Duke University with their one living son who is waiting for donor cells to grow. They lost their baby about a month ago to the same disease. We're believing for Divine healing. The news that they got recently wasn't good. Check out this website and please say a prayer for them! http://www.caringbridge.org/tx/joinerboys/ Marcie In a message dated 3/30/2004 4:34:14 PM Central Standard Time, JN1957@... writes: Subj:[low dose naltrexone] it wasn't Luck Date:3/30/2004 4:34:14 PM Central Standard Time From: JN1957@... I was getting fed up, and decided to look at it, that site was Goodshape.net. Until this very day I cannot figure out how it popped up like that, but I do know why. That site is what led us to the use of LDN. The weird part was that I never ventured out to find it, never heard of it, you are right Marcie, about that higher power. ~ JANICE ~
Guest guest
I call it Perfect Synchronicity, all the 'accidents' and coincidences. 10/11/02 the walls in my basement computer room started leaking. I had to take down my computers and desk and call someone to fix it while bailing and replacing towels. They came out to fix it, had to wait a few days and then flood the front yard to see. Well, it still leaked. They had to come out a 2nd time. Had to wait a few days and then test it again. It STILL leaked! Well, on 10/26/02, I had to catch up on my mails, so we put everything back together again, for the night. The LAST thing I did before going to power down and put everything away again was to go into MSWatch chat room. Just as I entered, scoobdoo was leaving, but mentioned to someone something about being on LDN for 3 weeks and feeling so much better. So of course I asked about it and was like, Yeah, sure, OK, a pill, right. But I checked out the website briefly, printed out the main pages and then powered down my computer. This was 3 days before my follow up with my neuro, the first one since the DX in July. I asked him about it, he said "it's harmless, but I can't let you try it" and that was that. My next visit was for January. In January I went to see him, he asked "So, did you pick one of the ABCR's to try?" and I told him "NO, I WANT LDN". He said "oh, yeah, that's right. Well, I'll tell you what, if you get me the Protocol, I will consider letting you try it.", my next visit was for April. Then I forgot all about it, I went to an allergist for 10 weeks of testing through Feb and Mar. 3 days before my scheduled appointment I called Dr. B's office to see if I could find out the protocol. They told me I'd have to make an appointment and that phone or in person was the same fee. So I made an appt for 4/23. When I went to see my neuro 3 days later, I knew that one way or another, I was getting LDN and I had my appointment all set. He asked me about the CRABs again and I told him I WANT LDN. He asked if I got the protocol, and I told him 3.0 MG, every night, between 9pm and 3am. He wrote me a script for "at bed time". Didn't know what to do with the script though. So I asked in this group and went with Skip's. I've been working 12-8am, steady, since August 2002, and mostly since 1985. I didn't know what to do though... was I supposed to take it at 6pm when I was going to sleep, or Midnight when I woke up??? So I asked here again, got an answer, and now the FQA question #4 helps everyone else in the same situation. My schedule happened to get changed right after my neuro visit, I was to be on a Regular Day schedule for 10 days in a row! 4/17-27. So by having my neuro give me the script, I was able to start 4/15, but waited 2 days so I'd have 10 days in a row of "normal hours". Had I needed to wait to go see Dr. B on 4/23, I may not have gotten the script filled until 4/28 and I'd have been back on 12-8 hours. Every step of the way, the path was paved with perfect synchroncity. And then the fun began! ----- Original Message ----- From: low dose naltrexone Sent: Tuesday, March 30, 2004 17:33 Subject: [low dose naltrexone] it wasn't Luck I was talking to a friend on line and this window kept popping up every 20 minutes or so. Guest guest
lLARRY, THERE ARE NO ACCIDENTS. BEFORE I WAS DIAGNOSED I PRAYED TO MEET SOMEONE WITH MS TO TALK WITH BECAUSE I STONGLY SUSPECTED IT WAS MS. I DID NOT HAVE A COMPUTER AT THE TIME3 SO CHAT ROOMS WERE NOT AN OPTION. ONE DAY I WENT TO GET MY NAILS DONE AND BEING THE TYPICAL TYPE A PERSONALITY WHO RUNS OUT THE DOOR WITHV WET NAILS THAT PARTICULAR DAY I THOUGHT I AM GOING TO RELAX AND READ WHILE MY NAILS ARE DRYING. A FEW SECONDS LATER A MAN APPROACHED ME USING A CANE. HE SAID "DO YOU MIND IF I SIT DOWN AND TALK TO YOU FOR A WHILE. then he went on to say "I WENT TO THE DOCTOR THE OTHER DSAY AND THE CRAZIEST THING HAPPENED. HE TOLD ME I HAD MS. WE CONTINUED TALING FOR AN HOUR AT LEAST AND I WAS TRYING TO CONSOLE HIM AND TELL HIM ALL THE NATURAL WAYS HE COULD IMPROVE HIS HEALTH WHILE ALL THIS TIME HE HAD NO IDEA I HAD BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH POSSIBLE MS. HE SAID"HONEY ARE YOU A NURSE , YOU SEEM TO KNOW MORE THAN MY DOCTOR. I REPLIED NO THAT A VERY "GOOD FRIEND OF MINE HAS MS. NOW THIS IS WHERE IT GETS REALLY GOOD. HE SAID 'I HAVE OWNED THE DELI NEXT DOOR FOR 17 YEARS AND HAVE NEVER BEEN IN THIS SALON BUT WHEN I SAW YOU THROUGH THE WINDOW SOMETHING MADE ME COME IN AND TALK TO YOU. AT THAT POINT WE SAID OUR GOODBYES AND MY EYES FILLED WITH TEARS OF JOY BECAUSE I KNEW THAT ANGELS WERE WATCHING OVER US AND THAT PARTICAL DAY I WAS THERE JUST AS MUCH FOR HIM AS HE WAS FOR ME. LASTLY, MY FRIEND WHOI IS A RECEPTIONIST AT THE SALON TOLD ME THAT VERY DAY THAT THE PERSON I TALKED TO HAD MS FOR MANY MANY YEARS AND HAD NOT JUST GONE TO THE DOCTOR AND GOTTEN DIAGNOSED. DIVINE INTERVENTION.
