Guest guest
You'll probably get a lot of responses; this is a very talkative group... I felt greater energy and strength almost overnight. My sleep was so greatly improved, I think I was finally getting the rest I had been missing. Then I hit a slump associated with some kind of flu. The vitamin B-1 that has been mentioned here several times has helped with that quite a bit. If you do start LDN and you don't see a lessening of fatigue you might try the Benfotiamine form of B-1. ----- Original Message ----- From: " elliottkrakow " <savapet@...> <low dose naltrexone > Sent: Wednesday, April 07, 2004 1:46 PM Subject: [low dose naltrexone] Is LDN effective for fatigue? > I'm a new poster and have recently learned of LDN for M.S. Guest guest
I have what my nuro calls advanced MS. A better description might be spms. I have been on LDN now for about a year. I was having to take prescription speed (provigal, stuff for narcoleptics) and was close to having to give up working. Since starting LDN my level of fatigue has gone down to where I can work all day and go to bed at a normal hour, most days. Without drugs to keep going! My father is just returning home from being in the hospital for a month and my mother was just admitted to the hospital with pneumonia. Both parents are now doing well! At work we are starting a new major project where we will be replacing 600 computers in the paper mill where I work. Lots of stress there! All this and not even single flare up or increase in symptoms! My nuro is surprised I am still able to work! Thank God for LDN. B. I am 56 years old and was dx with MS in November 2002. ----- Original Message ----- From: elliottkrakow low dose naltrexone Sent: Wednesday, April 07, 2004 4:46 PM Subject: [low dose naltrexone] Is LDN effective for fatigue? Guest guest
I have been on ldn since Jan. My brain fog has cleared up...and I am starting to feel like I have my life back.... I am definitely not as tired as I used to be. There are days where I feel that I have a 'whole' day!! It amazes me. The first weekend on ldn I slept almost the entire weekend, and the same thing the next weekend..... I feel that I am less stressed on ldn, and my body was catching up on years of much needed sleep. I am an at home mom, for 3 teenage boys.... and now it seems that I can do what I have to do without worry. Of course everyone has their own ldn story. You would have to try for yourself to see what it does for you. Also, I strongly suggest using a pharmacy on the www.ldninfo.org site!! I have a site www.healthyways.20fr.com that tells about my journey.... Hope this helps!!
