Guest guest
OK A question, I want to get the most out of my LDN I'm on 4.5mg and I thought that was best. now I read to change doses and or skip a day might be better. I am frankly a bit afraid to do this, I ran out once and it was terrible, I can no longer tolerate what I did before LDN I ended up medicating myself with valuim. it was a terrible night and day. The stinging pins and needles came rushing back, cramps, spasms. Gosh it made me thankful for how far I have come from that space pre LDN. Now I would be willing to change doses but would need detailed instructions on how many caps to put in how much water, then how much water to take to get the 3 mgs. No, I cant just get 3 mg caps cuz the insurance wont pay, and every penny counts these days, If I can do it myself with what I have I'll try it. I have said it to my friends and I will say it here,, LDN saved my ass! Not the most polite way to say it but it is true. Peace ZilNever give up, never surrender PS I sent out 50 emails today to people all over the states and Canada, wrote a brief story of what this off label drug has done for me, some of these people didn't even know I have MS. the response has been wonderful and they are signing away! Thank and all who got is ball rolling, and as a side bar, thank you too as you me to get busy with it!
Guest guest
Zil, I have been on 4.5 mg since last July, Dr Bihari told me not to skip doses. He suggested last week to try 3mg with the hope of improving stiffness. I had the stiffness before I started LDN. So far it has not made any difference with stiffness. The other improvements have been improved leg strength, balance and much improved urinary urgency and frequency. He emphasized not to skip any days. Guest guest
Hi Zill, I decided this past week that I needed to cut the dose of LDN in half. I carefully open the capsules and dump half the med in a teaspoon of applesauce and set the other half of the capsule in a safe place. This is the third night on the lower dose. I felt much better today than I have the past week. It would be easy for me to ask my neuro for another prescription, but at this point would rather try to work with what I have on hand until I figure out where I need to be on the dose. Hope I'm doing this right and if anyone has any info that might be helpful, I would appreciate it. Laughing & living again because of LDN.....
