Guest guest
Hi I ve been receiving this digest since I began LDN at the beginning of feb2004. It has been invaluable to me ,as I navigate the LDN path. But I am having huge problems with sleep deprivation and leg stiffness increase that's painful(New I only had minor leg stiffness before). The only benefit was improved balance only on the first day after I took the first dose.I literally have only a couple of hours sleep per night and it is not dose dependent. This is my 3rd month and I started off on 3mg, then to 4.5mg ,then back to 3mgand then to 1.5 mg. Im considering seriously stopping it because its torture. I had a few problems with sleeping before but nothing like this 2 months without much sleep and im desperate .Improved sleeping was one of the things that attracted me to LDN. so my GP will not give me sleeping tablets .Strong herbal sleeping tablets are not much help either. Just out of interest mine has cellulose as the F. R.filler and no colour in the capsule. Im also on no other meds apart from the oils and multivit.I have never taken the CRABS. Some thing you should all be aware of.My mother has ms too. She's in a home now.But we have the same sort.A couple of attacks in your early twenties ,late teens then nothing much for twenty years. It is one of the known 4 forms of MS .I was finally diagnosed at age 39 ,7 years ago. . Because of this , im leaving an open verdict on LDN stopping "MS dead in its tracks" Both me and my mother (an ex immunologist) would have to see more hard data on this. BUT it is obviously of great benefit to many people who don't have the degree of sleep deprivation that I have experienced or other forms of MS so Keep up the good Work! Guest guest
Hi Louise, I had 87 days of stiffness during the night and upon waking in the morning now it has finally gone down to a very low level. As for sleeping, I used to wake up every hour now I can sleep because I wake up about 1-2 a night, a big difference. Don't quit yet hold on and be patient it will be better. By the way, are you a french speaker? I ask because of your name and because I speak french. > Hi > I ve been receiving this digest since I began LDN at the beginning of > feb2004. > It has been invaluable to me ,as I navigate the LDN path. > But I am having huge problems with sleep deprivation and leg stiffness > increase that's painful(New I only had minor leg stiffness before). The only > benefit was improved balance only on the first day after I took the first > dose. > I literally have only a couple of hours sleep per night and it is not dose > dependent. > This is my 3rd month and I started off on 3mg, then to 4.5mg ,then back to > 3mgand then to 1.5 mg. > Im considering seriously stopping it because its torture. > I had a few problems with sleeping before > but nothing like this 2 months without much sleep and im desperate > .Improved sleeping was one of the things that attracted me to LDN. so my GP > will not give me sleeping tablets .Strong herbal sleeping tablets are not > much help either. > Just out of interest mine has cellulose as the F.
