Guest guest
Hi pam. I am afraid there is no way to know before hand. some people get stiff and some like me , don't. I have had relief from all my spasms and cramps. I also take neurontin which does help because I reduced the dose and it got worse Good luck wishing you the very best. Guest guest
Pam, Someone in the group (I can’t remember who) recommended something that makes a lot of sense. Have your doctor write you two scripts one for 1.5mm the other for 3.0mm this way you can experiment with a dose ranging from 1.5 – 4.5. all depending on the types of side effects you might be experiencing. I’ve been on 3.0 for about 2 months but on occasion I still have a difficult time sleeping through the night, so when I’m really needing some sleep I’ll drop down to 1.5 for a few nights to get a full 8 hours of sleep in! This works great for me!! Good luck and welcome to ldn users. I sent Dr. my papers and am waiting on his reply. I am concerned about some of the posts referring to stiffness. I take baclofen and skelaxin for spasms. I can't walk now and would like to know if the LDN would make my spasms worse or if there is a possibility that I could stop taking some muscle relaxers. Has anybody had a similiar experience?? Should I ask for a certain dosage or let it up to Dr. ? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks-Pam
Guest guest
Pam, that was my suggestion. I find that I feel better if I change doses periodically, reducing to 1.5 for a couple of nights and then go back to 3. The total Skip's charged for both prescriptions was the same as I've heard quoted for the 4.5 mg, so the flexibility didn't cost anything extra. Guest guest
Hi Pam I was terribly concerned about taking LDN and having my muscle spasms get worse. I have been on it since last June. My muscle spasms are much better. And my stiffness is much better too. I am on tegretol for the spasms. I was taking it 3 to 4 times per day but have been able to reduce it to two times a day. Everyone is different and you won't know how you will be on LDN until you try it. I was very happy with my results.
