I'm reading that to diagnose primary hyperparathyroidism is by showing an

elevated parathyroid hormone level in the face of an elevated serum calcium. I

don't think I have an elevated calcium and I'm not sure what the test name

would be for the parathyroid hormone, anyone know? Anyone know if this can

still

be an issue if your calcium is ok?
