Guest guest
some of you may know me as a LDN poster child, having wonderful results and cheering on others, Well, I am kinda freaking out, as I have symptoms that have been gone for over a month returning. It "feels" like the MS is progressing again like it was before, something new every day. I am not having a ms attack, just little things creeping back in (numbness, pins and needles etc.). I need help from those of you more experienced. Am I losing ground? I take 4.5 mg and DHL in the mornings. Yikes! Oh I did get my wonderful pharmacy to refill LDN in 1.5 caps so I can mess with dose, should I do that? Should I stay the course? should I just hope it goes back where it was? Yikes, yeah I am in a bit of a panic..... ZilNever give up, never surrender
Guest guest
Zill, Hang in there! Experiment with the dose if necessary, but don't give up! I alternate between 3mg and 4.5mg. I still have good days and bad days. (Of course a good day for me would send a normal healthy person to the ER in the back of an ambulance!) I do believe that I have fewer bad days than I did before LDN! Dang this disease! Guest guest
Zil, check for a UTI or other infection, having one would cause a pseudo-exacerbation.I stopped taking my cranberry capsules and olive leaf extract ( just because I am lazy) and BOOM...... feel like %$%^ . Had a UTI , seems we get them easily.
Guest guest
Dear Zil, Yes, mess with the dose. I too have had little things creep back, but I have also been fighting infections. I find that when I am not fighting 'something' I feel good, BUT I also find that taking 3 mg. for a couple of days and then going back to 4.5 mg. really does make a good difference. Good luck. Guest guest
Any 'old' symptoms you've had before, if they return, your body may be trying to do some repair work. I haven't had pins and needles for a few years, if I did something that Would have caused them, my arm or leg just went dead or hurt. After a while on LDN I started getting pins and needles, and they felt GOOD because I felt my body was Now reacting Normally, Again, to external stimuli. Guest guest
I agree Zil stay with it I have been going thru the same feelings too and it seems to me that most if not all will go thru this at some point in time while on ldn. Just remember what dr Bahari says which is what others say there will be transient and temporary signs of your M.S. relapsing but that is to be expected. I believe why I accept this so well is because of my type of progressive ms.I have not had a remission for years and live twenty four seven in a relapse, so when ldn gave me some kind of a remission I was very happy and a bit of a return isn't a sign of a relapse to me it is just my body fighting an infection or something. I hope this makes sense but still I won't ever stop ldn. but only at 3.0mgs. Guest guest
Zil, Staying calm, cool and collective has got to be the most difficult with this crazy disease called MS! The thing I first saw in your post is you still have a sense of humor, lol Unfortunately I’ve only been on LDN for a couple of months, so I can’t be the “words of experience Queen”. The only thing I can say through experience is keep a positive attitude, it’s a powerful tool! Good Luck! (MS) -----Original Message----- From: zillba@...
