Guest guest
These warnings are for larger doses than what we normally take for adrenal support. On that same site it says " ...complications of treatment with glucocorticoids are dependent on the size of the dose and the duration of treatment. " And they also say " Dosage: The initial dosage may vary from 20 to 240 mg of hydrocortisone per day. " So, their lowest recommended dose is what typical adrenal support usually is. There are thousands of people on that amount as so far as I have read in the thyroid groups there seems to be no reporting of the listed side effects mentioned. But I guess if anyone would like more about that it, check out: naturalthyroidhormonesADRENALS Sam > > Roni, you are wise to beware of steroids and become very informed before you > consider supplementing should you have a problem which might dictate their > use. Guest guest
Sam and Gracia - it does indeed say what you quoted. This does NOT mean that there will be NO side effects at the doses you take - it just simply doesn't say that. Nowhere did I read, as I mentioned in my post to Gracia - that at the 20MG dose nothing untoward will occur. Nowhere did I read that several years of treatment with this drug - such as some people are advocating - won't cause a side effect. It just doesn't say what you want it to say! As with most drugs the appearance of side effects is highly variable among patients - depending on many things such as body weight, dosage, length of therapy and an individuals level of sensitivity with the drug - and so on. The label just doesn't say " this warning is for larger doses than what is normally taken for adrenal support " . I won't post on this particular thread again. Have a nice day Dusty Adrenal support (Re: Getting warm) These warnings are for larger doses than what we normally take for adrenal support.
