We can't tell what your number or the L means without the lab's published reference range. However, TSH tends to be similar world wide, which means you are probably on the boundary line. However, it is also pretty meaningless unless we know which medication you are taking. Depending on the answer to that, and what symptoms you are having, you might need more or less.
