Guest guest
Hi all, I can't see pumpkin in either the allowed food list or the no-no food list. I searched on the internet yesterday and found a site that said it has only 6.5% effective carbs. Is that correct? If so that would make it an acceptable vegetable wouldn't it? Thanks
Guest guest
the food list lists acceptable vegetables that are 6% carbs and less...at 6.5, pumpkin is higher than what is suggested. Pumpkin would be considered a member of the " winter squash " family and those generally aren't allowed in early stages of the diet. That's why you shouldn't have very much at a time, if at all until much later. jackie > > > > Hi all, > > > > I can't see pumpkin in either the allowed food list or the no-no food > > list.
