It's very interesting to see that even the " iodine docs " don't really

recommend iodine loading tests. Yes, as he says the skin loading test

" ...it's not accurate enough... " . As a matter of fact it's not accurate

at all; to the point that it's bogus. Pretty much the same as the urine

loading test unless you have a way to account for the iodine eliminated

other than in the urine.

He further states: " ...Now I just start iodine supplementation in any

condition where iodine is a known factor. " IOW, given his world view

[and that of other " iodine docs " ] he probably starts nearly everybody on

iodine without the benefit of any measurable indication that they

actually need it. Because in that world view nearly 100% of us need

iodine. However, there is NO CREDIBLE SUPPORT in peer reviewed

literature for that assumption.
