Guest guest
I'm very happy for you and Bradley and the PB. We take so many things in life for granted that to stop and appreciate the miracle of each action is often lost. How wonderful for you to capture those moments with Bradley. Every action is a triumph. Be proud of yourself and Bradley. Tori's Grandma
Guest guest
Hi Gloria, I wanted to say that I know exactly how you feel. Last night at the table, 's brother (Ari 6.8) began to speak while was trying to say something, so she looked at Ari and said in a loud and affirmative tone " Shut up Ari, Shut up " . We were so excited and overjoyed at her using that phrase - we forgot to explain to her that it was inappropriate to use at the table and to her family members. We just thought it was golden - just like you did. Here is some background from one of my previous posts that will tell you why this is so exciting . " I am a mother of a beautiful 5-year-old girl, . Since the time she was about 11 mo old - I had a feeling that something was wrong with fine motor, gross motor and of course speech. Through the past 4 years, I have gone to numerous neurologists, best in the field, I must add. We have gone non-stop to therapy with , but the progress was painfully slow. did not speak - making it nearly impossible for us to communicate with her. Everyday at night I would kiss , and standing over her head I would say, " please start talking tomorrow " - subliminal messages - hoping they'd work. To no avail, my child was just not talking. Therapy helped, but progress was limited. I don't want to continue with this sub-story, as you probably all understand the fear and frustration in parents and the child as well. Guest guest
Gloria - Congratulations on your sons success. It's the little things in life that keep us going. I used to have to physically hold my son down to get a haircut. I would let his hair grow much longer than I'd like just because I couldn't stand the thought of another haircut episode. After being on Efalex for about 6 weeks I took him to get his haircut and he sat in the chair and let her just cut his hair. I nearly cried watching him while the hairdresser is trying to tell me he's just finally getting used to getting a haircut. If she only knew just how incredible it really was. Best of luck on your son's continued progress. KDR-1@...

Guest guest
Hi all - I don't post very frequently, but I wanted to share my experience with LDN. I have been taking it for 2-3 of weeks now. I noticed IMMEDIATE improvement with spasticity in my lower back and legs after the first dose. A family member commented that it was " like a miracle " . Since then, there has been no other change, which is fine by me. Now, with the reduced spasticity, I am able to get to the gym and am working on regaining some strength and weight. I also wanted to comment on the few posts about dreams where people did not have MS in their dreams. This is a great thing! Call me crazy if you would like [most do anyway], but I truly believe that we can do a lot of healing with our minds through visualization, meditation, and spiritual workings. I would encourage you to work with these dreams and visualize yourself in perfect health. I do this everyday and I think it is helping as well. For those who posted that they have yet to realize a response, I would suggest you stick with it for some time before throwing in the towel, as I seriously doubt it will harm you and the potential benefits are just to great to ignore. Okay, that's my pep talk for the day! LOL.
Guest guest
Dear, We're alway glad to hear we've reached another woman. I'm sure far too many women are among the walking wounded without a clue! I hope you will stick around for a while. You may need some help getting started detoxing. Some women do really well immediately. Others need to work at it! Be sure the doctor you select does en bloc removal - he/she may drain the implants first with a needle. But the capsule needs to be removed with the implant still inside to prevent spilling the contents into your chest cavity. Also . . . the doctor should use drains. Be sure to drink plenty of water before and after surgery to flush as many toxins loosed by explant as quickly as possible! And, please help spread the word! It's obvious the doctors are not going to! Hugs and prayers, Rogene

Guest guest
Congrats on coming out of denial! Know how hard that is, but once you see all these women's stories, it's pretty hard to stay in denial! Everyone here is SO helpful. I was scheduled to see Dr. Melmed, also, but I'm too sick presently to make that long trip. In my opinion, you've picked a Great Dr. to see. I will be going next week to see Dr. Kolb, alot closer so I can make the trip. Keep us posted on your progress. Good luck with everything, Cheryl
Guest guest
Melmed, from what I've heard from many who have gone to him, is an excellent doctor and very much aware of our illnesses associated with implants. he has been in the news before, and there are articles on the internet about him too. I have links in our links section. I am sure you will be in good hands, but please do stress to him that you want a total capsulectomy...no exceptions! and drains...to get rid of all the gunk out of your body that may be associated with them. Take care, Pattycrazycanoe1 <crazycanoe1@...> wrote: Melmed is the PS I have chosen; any comments welcome -J
Guest guest
welcome!! we look forward to hearing more from you.... make sure you check into all the explant info available so that you have a proper removal...don't assume all the plastic surgeons know how to correctly remove your implants with your health in mind. Most of them are pretty oblivious to the pain and suffering we've endured. Let us know if we can help! Pattycrazycanoe1 <crazycanoe1@...> wrote: Thanks for helping me to get out of denial and into reality. My saline implants have been in for 5 years, and I had no idea...no idea...all the info....still shocked...contacted a PS...will consult and explant...thanks for saving my health...didn't know what was going on...did anyone else have the thought of wanting to rip the implants out immediately after implant surgery? It was such a lonely, horrible time...I'm pursuing the real me now...thanks...
