'm going to ask this question, though the answer I think is obvious. Am I right to assume that when you buy LDN from Medsmex.com there are no fillers, unlike when you buy it from a compounding pharmacy? The medsmex version I believe, is a 50mg. pill that can be placed in 50 ml. of water for "the liquid method" - whereas prescriptions from doctors for let's 1.5 mg. that are filled at compounding pharmacies will have fillers. Is this correct?

Thanks for your help!

Oops! Don't know how the previous post sent!!!

It is my understanding that there is filler in the Revia from Mexico. 4.5mg is about the size of a grain of sand. It would be tough to get 50 grains of sand formed into a pill shape, I think. That's why I prefer to get compounded pills. I know how much Naltrexone is inside!

=======

Marcie is correct that there is filler in the 50mg Naltrexone tablets.

What we compounding capsule takers try to avoid are pharmacies that crush the

50mg pills to put in our capsules, still a filler must be added to the capsule

giving one a double dose of filler and probably not an exact mix on mg's. We

capsule user's need to be sure the compounding pharmacy we use uses pure

naltrexone powder as it has no filler...once the pure naltrexone powder is

measured, the filler can be added. That's how it was explained to me. Pure

Naltrexone Powder can only be obtained by a pharmacist in the USA.
