Guest guest
Elavil .. The generic name is Amitriptyline .. it is not a narcotic so it can be taken with LDN .. without a doubt that is not a problem. Insomnia is very common initially .. if it persists beyond 2 weeks some people lower the dose .. it is up to you how much to put up with before trying to change ...to date Dr Bihari still thinks that 4.5mg works best for most. The initial return of symptoms is also very common and most ride it out ... not easy. I don't know about feeling ill on LDN as a side effect but it could be that you are running another infection that is also causing a return of old symptoms ... just something to keep in mind. On reading your post I think that your body is adjusting to the LDN and it will work for you ... hang in there as long as possible. Guest guest
The dose of LDN you are taking is so low (remember Naltrexone is given in 50mg+ for addicts) that the only medication you cannot mix with is narcotics. They do know a lot about Naltrexone, its been around for a long time. In high doses it does have side effects but the tiny amount in LDN. LDN has been used for 8+ years that I know of. The Pharmacist that makes LDN in Sydney thinks it should be taken for 3 months to 6 months to give it a fair go. --- In low dose naltrexone , " sls356 " <ducky356@h...> wrote: > I started LDN 2 nights ago, I am on the 4.5mg dose.
