Sue, It is also important for me to know that long term effects are

serious...and can come sooner than later than I would like. Thanks

for sharing your story with me. I am considering ....and know I will

go...at least to get fitted ....sooner THAN later....and then I will

go from there. I know with time I will find the strength to

sincerely say " to hell with what other people think " ....I am getting

there.....but these are my first steps.

please take care....and thanks for the push. it means a bit more

coming from you...than someone who doesn't have the slightest clue

how it feels to be faced with these decisions.

Hi Sue,

I don't really have much advice; however, you are definitely not

alone. I too experienced heart palpitations, as well as chest pains

(had trouble breathing). I never went to a cardiologist or

anything, as when I explained this symptom to my rheumatologists,

they just acted like it wasn't related to my Rheumatoid arthritis

(which I developed due to my saline breast implants). I had my

implants in for two years, and towards the end, my palpitations

started becoming more frequent. Oh, I forgot, I did almost pass out

a couple of times as well. It's been two months since explant, and

I've noticed that my heart palpitations are not as frequent...I'm

also not having trouble breathing as frequently either. This is a

scary symptom, but hopefully it will decrease and eventually stop

when you are explanted.

Best wishes,

Kacey

Thank you very much for your reply, I have a feeling that they may be hormone induced or something like that, as they happen a week before my period.I am going to ask for another thyroid test.

I have already been explanted, I must admit they were more often before but not as strong.Sorry but its really hard to explain what I mean.

Any case thanks again.

Sue.

How long ago was your explant? Who was your surgeon? Did you have a

lift? Are you happy with the results? Have your symptoms improved?

Let us know more, maybe you already have and I just missed it? It is

hard to keep track sometimes of everyone, because there are so many

new girls writting me, and here on the group as well.

Anyhow it could be some kind of hormonal thing, thyroid is part of

your hormones so that could also def be involved. I would get some

bloodwork done!

Hugs

Sue I also had some heart palapitations when implanted but do not know if it was related to implants or my long term undiagnosed hypothyroidism. I would get your thyroid levels assessed, and definitly keep your plan on explant to make you feel better, in all aspects! Love JUlie

Thanks again for your reply, I am reluctant to say too much over the net as I really dont want to worry any of the women, its really difficult to say alot, I have been explanted for a long while though.I live in England and had both the implant and capsule removed after having implants for nine years, neither had ruptured but the capsule split on removal although it was very thin.

I just dont wish to worry anyone as I think I am an extreme case.

Thanks Sue.
