I lurk most of the time, but I've got to come out of the shadows a bit after today. First of all, I read all these pages where people are tearing one another to shreds over an advertisement on a petition page on the Internet. I'm wondering, "Has the focus been lost here?" Now, I'm being queried about whether or not I'm an atheist. No, I'm not an atheist, I'm a Christian. But I'm part Welsh and part German. . . . does that disqualify me? Or maybe the fact that I weigh over 250 pounds? I've read Angels and Demons and The DaVinci Code - even did a little extra homework on Opus Dei. I'm pleased to report that all this improved the effectiveness of the LDN I take - or, is that just a sidelight now? I'm not sure. Did you know that The DaVinci Code is alleged to have been plagerized? After the past day or so reading these pages, I'm not too sure of anything. Except that I totally agree with everyone writing in reminding us all once again why we're here - to help one another through our knowledge and experiences with LDN. That seems pretty darned simplistic to me, and very darned important to remember. People whose primary objective is religion or politics or sexual preferance, or polls - or anything else - need not apply as far as I'm concerned. Now, that having been said, it's back to the shadows. P.S. All of this was truthful.
