Public and private agencies would be eligible forgrants which will be distributed to states by formula.Ideas for this money (which were submitted for thecommittee report) include support for an accessiblepedestrian environment, accessible taxi programs,paratransit services beyond minimum requirements, rural co-op programs, volunteer driver programs, mobilitymanagement, etc.The full House will probably vote on H.R. 3550 thisWednesday, March 31 or Thursday, April 1.
