Yesterday was the first day of no stiffness YAYYY Also it was the

third day after I took a two day break from my ldn. I know I said I

wouldn't do that but I had to find out if it would help. It did and

yesterday I actually walked a few steps without my cane I also was

lifting my leg somewhat for those steps, now today I don't have the

same results but it is encouraging to know that what was lost can

come back, even if just for a short while.

Hi,

How long have you been on LDN...? Wondering if the stiffness leaves after a while..or do we need to reduce the dosage to 3.0

Thanks

Bev.

No Bev I still have quite a lot of stiffness and this is worrying my orthopedic person he has made me promise to go back to my nuero and get a prescription for a short leg brace (which he makes)as he figures I will be in a fuul brace shortly if we don't get something done soon, my walking is still there but lately I have started to fall down again cause my left foot is starting to point down too much when I walk.(called drop foot)

I am on 3.0 mgs now as 4 or more was just too hard to use due to complete left arm lockup.

I now have no more sleep problems or any reocurrances of prior problems, like L'Hermettes which is GONE my bladder control is GREAT and the scalded feeling on my left side is HISTORY.

My blood pressure is good again now that I have dropped the DLPhenylalanine, and for whoever it was that thinks Benfotiamine is the cause of high blood pressure it is not.I still take about 160mgs per day and my blood pressure is almost normal now.

I just woke up to two inches of snow and six below and after yesterday when we were on the lawn in our shorts and tee shirts this could give one higher blood pressure .

As I get older and more arthritic I am starting to find it hard to see the beauty in this when it is six below celcius and no green to be seen anywhere and it's the ninth of May.

I know it has been discussed many times before, but could someone please remind me what a lot of you take for muscle stiffness?

Sorry to be going over this again.

I have taken the Hylands Leg Cramp pills w/quinine. They may help some of my night time spasms, but I haven't noticed anything even coming close to alleviating my extreme stiff legs. I wish it did!!

How are you Kiki? I haven't been on-line much lately. Lots of thunder storms in west Texas this past week.

I have some OTC tablets made by Hyland's called Leg Cramps with Quinine, a homeopathic remedy. They do help my night time back pain and stiffness quite a bit. I just discovered them in the grocery store a week or two ago, and remembered that my GP had suggested drinking tonic water. Tonic water is so nasty tasting I never was able to make myself drink it, but these tablets do seem to help some. They also contain several herbs.
