Guest guest
After a pretty bad case of ON (both eyes - almost totally blind) I was diagnosed with MS in late February. I researched all the ABC ® drugs and was underimpressed, so rejected them. My Neuro would not Rx LDN, so I found a " Dr. Feel Good " HRT doctor who was willing to " Give me whatever I want! " and I got the script. That doctor had never heard of LDN, I requested 3.0 - since it seems like most people do OK on that. Skip's will be sending me the LDN this week. Anyhow - I really don't have many other symptoms - just a tiny bit of tingly stuff in my fingertips, and some in my face. And my ears ring almost constantly. I am concerned about the stiffness some of you talk about, but am willing to give LDN a try to stop MS progression. The doctor who prescribed the LDN, made a pretty good case (from my history and bloodwork) that I am progesterone low. He is also suggesting I go on Bio-Natural Progesterone (and gave me a script for that, too.) I have researched it, and found that it is credited with promoting the formation of new myelin sheaths, and since it is a steroid, it can help with inflammation. So it sounds good. I was wondering if anyone else is using Bio-Natural Progesterone - with LDN? I would really like to hear if anyone else is combining the two treatments. This doctor has about 35 MS patients, all on HRT, and he says they are doing pretty good.
