Hi Everyone,

Firstly, I want to apologize for not responding to E-mails over the

last week. I had a spinal Tap done, and suffered complications. So I

was in bed for a week.

Im mentally weak at the moment as more tests are coming back positive.

So now im thinking that I may have lupus too.

The reason being, is that i got results from my ANA panel which showed

positive to Anti-Histone antibodies (which is common in drug induced

Lupus) and also Cardiolipin (which is associated with blood clots and

miscarriages)Both of these are found in SLE.

Also, I recently saw Dr Ritt in san diego.Hes a great Hepatologist. I

was told that my enzymes have increased rapidly over the past 2 weeks.

My SGPT is now 200. He said that we will wait to see if the enzymes get

worse before going on meds. Now, the question I have, is how high is

too high for the enzymes? In other words at what elevation should i be

on meds?

I hope everyone is doing good and my thoughts and wishes go out to you

all.

Elena,

With me personally, I was in the hospital, undiagnosed, my ALT's and AST's

were in the two thousands before they put me on any meds. The only thing I

was on up until they put me on imuran and pred was a tablet to stop the

itching from the increase in bilirubin. I then had a reaction to the imuran

so they changed that. But I had high counts before that (900's) and they

had me on no meds. That is just me though.

Keep your chin up.

Elena:

How are you? Sorry I didn't get back to you on Monday but I was so busy the

whole time I was in San Diego. I found out the day I left that I would be in

the wedding. So ofcourse this old fat lady had to get a nice dress to wear.

My sister is a size 5 and I am like a size 85 compared to her. We did find a

new dress at the Nordstroms and I thought it was made for me. I was very

pretty and didn''t make me look so big. But all in all I had a good time. I

was grad to get home. I missed my family and my dog Halo. She is sitting by

my feet as I read my e-mails. I hope you get better soon.

Take care and you will be in my prayers.

Thanks for replying to my post sue!

Your enzymes were certainly higher thank mine. It looks like my enzymes

are really nothing to worry about, being in the 200's. I am interested

to know at how high is too high? and at what figure should you be on

meds? Does anyone know?

Take care

I hope everything is ok Joanne. If you expect to be back, you can go on no

mail until you¹re ready.

I¹ve been wondering where you¹ve been the last few weeks and hoping you are

ok.

You¹ll always be welcome to come back.

Hugs,

I am so sorry that when I hit reply I didn't remove the digest! I got distracted, cam back to my computer, hit send and realised what I had done. I know how annoying that is.

Sorry.

Hi group, I didn't trim nor sign my last post.  Other than that, I'm totally on

the ball this morning :)  I think I'll blame Tommy who had shots yesterday and

was up most of the night with a fever.  Yes, I'll use the kids for excuses while

I can.  Cheers, Kate F

I can't believe you got away with that! Yesterday I was in the grocery store

waiting while (my girlfriend) was getting a few things. I found myself

next to the magazine rack. There was a stack of Playboy magazines on display.

Well, I haven't seen a Playboy article for years, literally. No one was around,

so I picked one up to take a look. Suddenly my cell phone rang, I was startled.

I answered, it was , " Put that down and walk away! "  she said and hung up.

Of course, I had to comply.

Oh, Kate. I am so angry about this.

Seriously, I hope Tommy is feeling better now and that you all get

some good sleep tonight.
