Guest guest
5mg??? You might try starting off with 3mg and see how it goes at that dosage. I started off there for the first month, then upped it to 4.5mg and didn't notice any real difference. lucky I guess. But 3mg would kinda put you in a middle range and if you tolerate that well, then either stay there or experiment and go up to 4.5mg. If you don't tolerate it well, then you can always go down some in the dosage to find out what is right for You. Your body will let you know. Sorry, but we all have to find out what is right for each of us individually. Take care, and keep us posted. Took my first dose of 5mg of dln last night. Was up all night. In morning was very tight, had difficult time using legsand just felt lousy.. My questions--is 5mg too high of a dose to start with--maybe use 1.5mg. Has anyone else had these problems? Guest guest
Hi, I have PLS and I'm on my 20th day of LDN 3.0 mg. In the beginning I experienced sleepiness during the day (less now), nausea (but when I eat it diminishes), leg stiffness (I had some before LDN). The only positive thing so far is less urinary urgency. Maybe you should lower it and see what happens. I think as time goes by these symptoms disappear, but nonetheless lower the dosage and see what happens. Don't give up, give it time. Hope this helps. About two weeks ago I got too hot and boy I started going > down hill fast- but after I cooled off and rested for about 18 hours > I was back to my old self. Anybody have any similiar circumstances? > would appreciate all the info- pat ============ You need to go up to about 3.0mg or 3.5mg. If you do well on these then go up to 4.0mg and then up to 4.5mg. If you feel 4.5mg is too strong then back down to 3.0mg, 3.5mg or 4.0mg and hold at whatever dosage you feel best at. My neuro is waiting on me to crash also but it isn't happening. Next month I will have been on LDN 1 year and haven't had one single sign of an exacerbation or progression. I was dx'd as chronic progressive in 1989. I can feel that my progression switch has been turned off by LDN. It's a weird internal feeling that's much different than before my LDN usage. Guest guest
LDN can't cure your vision problems if it is not related to a symptom of M.S. I wish it could!
