Guest guest
Can someone explain how I should handle this situation? I think I need more info. I started Tamoxifan approx 2 wks ago. I read that LDN and tamox are contraindicated; that LDN doesn't work on those who have been treated w/tamox. I'm freaking now because I want/need the LDN more than Tamox. If I stop the tamox now (and rely on mammos, etc) and start LDN hopefully within the month,is there a possibility it could still have good results? Thanks so much in advance. Guest guest
Thanks Sandy. I've had a hysterectomy (1/04) but went through Novantrone induced menopause a year ago. (I'm 48). I have osteoporosis of the hips (from steroids) so the aromatese inhibitors were out. I'm taking Fosamax for the osteop. Hopefully, my oncologist will either know how to approach this or will be talking to Bihari in the relatively near future.... --- In low dose naltrexone , " sandra " <destress@s...> wrote: > ...have you passed your menapause......tamoxifan is generation one with > too many side effects the new estrogene blockers are called > aromatese inhibitors i.e. Arimadex, Fermerra and the new one that i take > called Aromasin.....they do a better job.......Aromasin you must have passed > 2 years in your menapause......I will call Bihari to see if they are ok with > LDN I have been on LDN for 4 months on 3 and now updraded to 4.5 all the > best Sandy > ----- Original Message ----- > From: " cathyl_us " <Meowbr@a...> > <low dose naltrexone > > Sent: Monday, May 03, 2004 10:56 PM > Subject: [low dose naltrexone] Tamoxifan and LDN - Question > > > > Can someone explain how I should handle this situation?
