Guest guest
On Day 11 I had to make a long trip and worried I would have to stop in the middle. After 4 hours I realized I hadn't gone since I left my first stop. In July I had some days of 8-11 hour stretches, no urgency when I had to go, either. When I was in Florida with a friend back in January he commented that HE was having to go a lot more than I did and was quite impressed in the changes. He knows me very well since 1986. He's very impressed with what LDN has done for me. Never took any other meds. Just LDN. Was living with BU/F for 13 months prior. ----- Original Message ----- From: & low dose naltrexone Sent: Tuesday, May 04, 2004 04:15 Subject: [low dose naltrexone] Bladder Improvements / Medication? Hi Everyone, I am really curious to hear from people who have experienced improvements in their bladder function if they were on any of the bladder meds before they started taking LDN, and if so, did they stop taking them to see what happened with the LDN? I manage -would never say i was in control! - my body with a drug, and don't know that I would be comfortable to stop taking it to see if the LDN kicked in? On a weekend maybe but certainly not during the week at work. I don't have any issues with disturbed sleep at night, but certainly freq & urgency are two words that I am now very familiar with. Thanks
Guest guest
I was taking no pee pills before LDN. Urgency even with the pills, better than without them. I noticed an improvement almost right away and after a few days stopped the no pee pills. My bladder control is now very much normal (after a year on LDN. LDN is not the prefect cure all. I still can have occasional bad day when various symptoms seem to return, but the bad days become less often and less severe as time passes. The stiffness in my legs (thanks to Copaxone, not doing anything) is easing up a little finally. Though, if I over do things (not that anyone would here would try to over do anything) I do still feel the old stiffness till I get a good nights sleep. B.
