low dose naltrexone

Subject: [low dose naltrexone] 5 months on ldn...success

i have ms.. i have been on ldn for 5 months now...i was on rebif for about as long but it made me depressed and gave me horrible panic attacks and as far as i can tell it didnt slow down the progression of my disease...the side effects were so bad i couldnt function..in fact i still suffer from the side effects rebif gave me..it is much better now but they are still around..when i decided to quit taking rebif i started to dive in to researching alternative therapies...mostly online where i found ldn..i asked my neuro to prescribe it to me but he said there was not a chance...the only things he had for me where a,b,c,r's and steroids...so i made the decision to just flat out drop him as my doc and give doctor bihari a call..i figured i might as well go to the source..doc b was very kind and prescribed ldn for me over the phone..it came in the mail the following day...that was the day my life started to get better..you see i was diagnosed with ms almost 3 years ago..and it felt like being on a crashing plane that whole time..it seemed like every week i would wake up with a new symptom..needless to say i was slipping fast...but for 5 months now i have not had a single new symptom and any symptom that has gone away in the last 5 months have not returned..life is starting to become normal for me now..i dont have to worry about waking up tomorrow and my legs not working or not having the energy to brush my teeth...i hardly even check this site anymore..i do tell everyone i can about ldn and beg them to take it if the have a condition it may help...i think the reason i am writing this is because i used to look at this site and read other people's success stories and it would give me so much hope that i would be able to do something for my ms..so i feel that i owe it to this site to do the same..if you are reading through this site to figure out if you should try ldn i can only say that it saved my life.the life i used to have not the life it would have become if i hadnt found ldn..long story short -ldn works..take care -elleryps..it also saved the life of my wallet
