group moderator going away from jan 21 to jan 28

hi folks,

this is ira fine, the group moderator. i plan to go away from jan 21

to jan 28,and while i am gone, i will not have access to a computer or

the internet. during that time, posts by new members and the first

posts by existing members will not be posted until i return, and allow

those messages to be posted.

i realize that will be an inconvenience to posters, but there is

nothing else i can do. as the moderator, i do not have the power to

appoint another moderator, only the list owner can do that, and

although i have asked him to do so, he has not replied.

for those of you who questioned my censoring of messages, the only

messages i do not approve to be posted are those which are obvious spam.
