Guest guest
Well, it is affirmed. I am pregnant. Explains the sore breasts and weight gain (although I've had both for 4 months now with negative tests up until today.) So now what do I do about vitamin D, supplementation, armour, etc?? I am all excited and freaked out at the same time. Just thought that I would share with you all, Hugs~please say a prayer for me!!

Guest guest
hi bee i'm concerned about the message below, thr lady said she was taking natural vitamin A not syntheitic, and her boys got heart problems yet the daughter did not and at that time she wasnt taking vitamin A. i will look at weston A price as you advised previously. was wondering if taking natural vit A alone is different from taking cod liver oil? thanx joe -- In , Mehner <valiegal50@...> wrote: > > Thank you , for giving these links. I had two sons with heart defects while taking vitamin A. All this came out shortly after they were born. One of my sons had heart sugery and is now 21 years old. He needs to be checked every two years to see if his new valve is still working right and may have to have it replaced someday soon. I took vitamin A in a natural form and it was a small dose-- 10,000iu's. That is the smallest amount in each capsule you can buy. They also come in 25,000iu's and higher. I did mention this on Bee's site before. I can't remember who I gave the message to. It was someone who was pregnant. I never told my doctor about it, but always felt guilty that I may have caused this problem by taking the vit A. My two girls were born with no problems and I had not taken the A with these pregnancies. I remember reading several reports of heart problems with that supplement since. I am so glad to see that you found something on it to share here. Val > > Hi h, > > You need to be careful with Vitamin A during pregnancy. It is thought to be teratogenic (can cause birth defects) in high doses. I had a scare and had to have amniocentesis. I've included some links about it. > > > > http://www.thenutritionreporter.com/A-vitamins.html > > http://www.pregnancy-calendars.net/vitamina.asp > > http://www.foresight-preconception.org.uk/booklet_vita.htm > >

Cod liver oil contains vitamins A & D, and omega-3. I do not know the affect of taking " only vitamin A. " Bee
