Guest guest Posted January 9, 2008 Report Share Posted January 9, 2008 Googled and found: safe alternative to reusable plastic bottles, the Traveler Vacuum Bottle's 18/8 stainless steel construction will not leak harmful chemicals and is neutral to taste and smell. As plastic degrades through aging and wear & tear of washing, leaching of potentially harmful chemicals increases.
