Guest guest
My most recent tests: Ferritin 65 (Taking Slow-Fe every other day. Free T3 337 Norm 230-420 Free T4 l.l3 Norm .08 to 1.8 TSH 0.01 Norm .4 - 5.5 The above was taken after 66 days on Cytomel 12 -1/2 mcg and and a 15 day old dose increase of Synthroid from .75 mcg to 100 mcg. I feel better than I have in quite a while, but still A.M. hard to awaken. Some palpitations very late in day but not daily as compared to all the time before the Cytomel and the Syn. increase. I am not Hashi's (or so the one antibody test says - not the TPO , the other one) Since this test I have added another l/4 tab of Cytomel and it is reducing the breathlessness and palps quite a bit (unless that is the Synthroid increase too 100mcg finally kicking in -as I understand that takes a number of weeks). Since I am not Hashi's , I hesitate to add that last l/4 tab of Cytomel (had 25mcg tabs cut into quarters so I could go up slowly) because my TSH would probably then be suppressed. Does anyone have an opinion? Should I add some topical Iodine? A --------------------------------- Talk is cheap. Use Messenger to make PC-to-Phone calls. Great rates starting at 1¢/min.
