Hi Friday.

I am thinking about starting a list of all doctors who have prescribed LDN, and who are willing to let their name stand as having done so. By the way, if you have not already been there, take a look at msnews@.... This may be another way of getting to those who need to be got to.

Subject: [low dose naltrexone] Re: LDN (Friday) Supporting letter

Tom, Im sorry you've been ill, please take it easy and dont worry about me till you feel better. You wouldnt believe the trouble im having with doctors, they are always quoting the law and when I mention to write a script for me as an alcoholic - they are horrified that i even suggested it. My Neuro will see me in the distant future - like, 5th of August - as she is booked out until then, but at the same time, all doctors are saying to me, 'Do you realise that a prescription costs $AU200?' and I say, Im a disability pensioner, its on the subsidy scheme, they say, no its not. So, they expect me to believe that low income earners or social security people can pay that sort of money in this country? Please, Tom, in your own time, and when you are feeling better, I would appreciate just a small statement on your specialist's letterhead paper, confirming LDN is being prescribed, successfully benefiting his patients, and not harmful, etc, - I'd appreciate the support.First things first though, get better,RegardsFriday> Friday> > Sorry, Friday, but I have been quite ill the last few days. But I am looking forward to seeing my neuro on May 11 and starting on LDN. Was I supposed to try and get a letter for you from him saying he was prescribing LDN to some of his patients?> > Sorry I forgot, but when I have a session like this last one, I tend to forget a lot of things.> > Tom from Edmonton

Friday,

I have PLS which is a form of motor neurone disease (MND) and am on

another Group for people in Australia and NZ with MND and was just

reading posts sent today from others who are on LDN, one in Queensland

and one in South Aust. From memory you are in Sydney aren't you? I

think I know of someone there with MND who has been subscribed LDN so if

you want I can try to find out their doctor's name and let you know (I'm

in Melbourne).

If I do get a name I will email you directly in case the doctor doesn't

want their name broadcast to the world.
