Guest guest
Just discovered LDN and have been reading and getting info. I have had MS for 20 years and have been on all of the interferons and am now taking Copaxone. Typical response when I asked my neuro about LDN - I am sure everyone knows what I am talking about. Total dismissal..blah..blah..blah... My primary care dr. read the info on the web site specifically about LDN and MS; he didn't exactly jump on the LDN bandwagon, but he will write the script. He thought that the suggested benefits were too broad, but that it seemed harmless. He at least listens to what I want and is open to it! I have been his patient for 25 years so we do have a long history. My question is on what dose would you recommend I start? Should I start w/ the lower dose for the first month and then increase? Thanks for any advice. Gail Woburn, MA
Guest guest
Gail, I would start with what the majority of us are taking which is 3.0, stick with that for a while to see what kind of results that gives you, i.e. let stiffness and sleep patterns. From there you can go in either direction (as littile as 1.5 to as much as 4.5. You'll also find that many of us do a combination at times. Good luck in a short order, you'll become arware of the perfect dose! Guest guest
I wish a trial had been done then we could say that with your body weight and other circumstances factored in you should have "x" amount. But since that isn't in the works here at least I suggest you get 1.5mg. caps. made up then start at two for two weeks taken at 9:30 p.m. and if this works well stay there but if not you have the option of adding one more or subtracting one to suit! This is what I did and it worked very well.
