kellie here fellow aussie just started on LDN-only - 4th day so 2 early to tell- body adjustment period I feel at present so in the wait and see limbo- hard to get doc to prescribe but I had cool doc 2 only way to get it is to basically say for alcohol abstinence as patient has active problem or is craving badly after abstinence.. If you get doc to agree say that and can get it on PBS for $3.70.. cool huh! then have to chop up small sliver off one quarter to get your 3 mg dose (where theres a will theres a way !!! lol)as this is not trialed for MS and as you know -Australia very strict on that-red tape blah blah we wait for years for anything!) you will need the most coolest Dr around and if agrees to it , my guess is will want it kept quiet like my doc as she has full patient schedule and doesnt want 1000 MSers on her doorstep-and as govt authority needed would draw a lot of attention to her un-nneded of course...aaaaahhhh what we have to do to beat the trial wait!!! my suggestion email your Dr info about positive feedback from people on LDN...it may sway her as I did mine..and look int o calcium AEP too -great reports but would have to order over net-not available for same resons in OZ as LDN -damn9WONDER IF CUSTOM PROB TO INCOMING AIR FREIGHT? Hello Everyone,

I am investigating LDN as another way to manage / address my MS and was wondering if there is anyone on the list who lives in Australia & is taking it? I have an excellent GP - she trained as a neuro but then decided to be a GP - who is open to diet / supplement approaches, as well as being highly aware of the importance of the emotional / spiritual side so I think she will be receptive to discussing LDN. Handy to know though of anyone else using it here.
