Guest guest
Hello everyone! I'm 20 years old and when I was 18 i was diagnosed with hypothyroidism and placed on antithyroid medication. Another year went by and I developed a goiter. recently this year in august I was in my class and suddenly couldn't breath so I went to the emergency and the doctors drew my blood but the results came back normal. SO I was referred to a specialist who deals with cancer. I had a thyroid ultrasound done and even that came back normal. The results once again showed that everything was normal and he suggested that I could possibly be allergic to certain foods that I was eating or that I may be stressed out about something and suggested that I be put on anti-depressants. I didn't agree so I decided to just sit back and monitor everything that I did. For a few weeks everything was going good and suddenly out of nowhere the goiter popped up again but with even more symptoms. I can't tolerate the cold, I can't eat or drink anything without having this painful cough that sometimes results in me vomiting. My skin and nails are extremely dry and my cycle hasn't started but I'm not pregnant. I have also broken out in what I believe is a severe case of the hives. My nerves are a wreck and I often feel like I'm going crazy. If anyone is going through or has gone through the same thing could you please give me some advice on what I should do?? I seriously need HELP!!
