Georgina , Robbin and the whole gang.

I truly feel without more education and awareness we will never get the

results you and I want. Having had JRA for 30 years I have seen more strides

in the past year than the previous 29 years. It will take the parents, the

kids and even those of us who have battled for many years to get the

attention we all so deserve. I will be in attendance at the AJAO conference

in Orlando and intend to get as many stories as possible. I believe the more

we can compile and send the better. To send one here and one there will not

make the impact needed. This is not " just arthritis " nor is it " an old

persons disease " . You know this and I know this, now lets make everyone else

aware!!!!

Hope everyone is well and look forward to meeting some of you in sunny FLA.

your right i am compileing a survey for all to take this may help us

you can print it out if you would like

we need all the help we can get on this

i will not be attending the conference but wish i could

WE as parents and the ones who have it need to YELL and HOLLER as loud as we

can on this the more i read into it the more i think some listen and some

just let it go in one ear and out the other lololol until we press and press

for more help

and education

i know for myself when i was first told i felt alone no where to turn

but i came here to this group and found answers

i have always learned from takeing chances and this is a chance we all take

the way i see it if we dont we never get anywhere

as the group can tell by now i am always speaking i have always done that

lololol and i let the voice be heard if i can yell loud enough people

listen

this is true you know how teachers are lololol if i cant get it with them i

go higher

lololol each voice in this group can make a difference

and tell each one of yall this if the teacher your child has this year dont

understand JRA or what your child is going through just hand them this email

address or print out their education lolololol this group will educate the

teachers

Hi--I've been following the thread on phenols--relating to migraine in

families, red ears and dark circles under the eyes. Could someone point me to

a list of phenol containing foods? Also, is there any relationship between

thyroid problems and phenols?

Thanks,

Apple

Apple,

Most FRUITS contain Phenols. We have had to remove all apple and grape

products from our son's diet and are thinking about removing banannas.

Also, Fruit juices are the worst!

Thank you for referring me to the Veritas article. It was the clearest

explanation I've seen so far of what is happening in my body.
