DLPA may or may not have worked but my Dr. almost freaked out when he saw my blood pressure after only one week on it. Now that I am off of it for three weeks my blood pressure has come back down to manageable levels.

And yes I too have some moles(the big flat black ones) that were groing with the DLPA or anyway and not because of it.

so that was a very good reason to quit the pills.

Myself I can't promote the use of ldn during the day unless you are a alcoholic. I know I can't drink "hard stuff" anymore since starting ldn.But that's ok it only made me fall down anyway.

I don't know if you or someone else in the group can help me. Your post is the first I've seen regarding taking a dose of LDN during the day.

I read that taking DL phenylalanine (DLPA) the next day could help continue some endorphin release of the LDN and help with pain.. I bought some locally to start with my LDN on April 5. I was looking on the internet to get the DLPA at a better price when I read a caution that people with Melanoma (skin cancer) shouldn't take it.

Since I had a skin cancer removed about 20 years ago, I didn't want to take it. I spoke with the person who had written about combining the DLPA with LDN.

She suggested taking a small dose of LDN during the day in place of the DLPA. I take 3 mg at night and got 1.5 to take during the day.

My question is, do you know what improvements have been seen in people taking a small dose during the day? Also, do you know what time of the day it should be taken?

Does anyone know if doing this works?
