Guest guest
Doug, I'm sorry to hear you are having a setback. But you're right, a short increased burst like this is preferable to the other possibilities. Joyce and Amy, I hope you and yours see benefits from our favorite med soon. Greg, you'll get those peak flows up. If nothing else soon you'll have TWO kids to run after--that'll get you going! I was almost two weeks late getting my last dose. (I get 3 shots every two weeks.) My husband has been gone a lot with varsity high school baseball and I didn't want to give myself my shots when he wasn't here. Then when I went to prepare my shots on Sunday, I discovered that the specialty pharmacy hadn't put in a second vial of SWFI like they usually do and I'd already thrown the other one out. Monday I called the nurse and she said, no problem come pick up a vial, but I couldn't get there until Wednesday. I definitely started on the down slope once I hit three weeks since the last shot and yesterday before I got home I was really heading in to trouble. I nearly reached for the nebulizer and some pred, but I did some deep breathing exercises and went to bed. Felt really good this morning, after three days of incredible fatigue and various allergic symptoms. I definitely love my Xolair. Take care all, Addy
