My 16 year old daughter has been on Xolair (300 ml/once a month)

since November '03. She had pre-treatment IgE level over 300. This

was after 2 years of shots for multiple environmental allergies.

She has an extreme sensitivity to trees which has resulted in

hospitalization for anaphylaxsis.

It took about 2 months to begin to notice the effect.Her energy level

and dispostion have been steadily improving each month.Her peak flow

asthma readings have improved by %50. Her doctor is hoping for a

permanent reduction in her sensitivity after one year of treatment.

This is still a " wait and see what happens " experiment, but there is

no doubt in my mind that Xolair is helping.
